الفاتحة

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ١

Bis'mi l-lahi l-raḥmāni l-raḥīmi

In the name of God, the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy!

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٢

Al-ḥamdu lillahi rabbi l-ʿālamīna

Praise belongs to God, Lord of the Worlds,

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٣

Al-raḥmāni l-raḥīmi

The Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy,

مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٤

Māliki yawmi l-dīni

Master of the Day of Judgement.

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ٥

Iyyāka naʿbudu wa-iyyāka nastaʿīnu

It is You we worship; it is You we ask for help.

ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ٦

Ih'dinā l-ṣirāṭa l-mus'taqīma

Guide us to the straight path:

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ٧

Ṣirāṭa alladhīna anʿamta ʿalayhim ghayri l-maghḍūbi ʿalayhim walā l-ḍālīna

The path of those You have blessed, those who incur no anger and who have not gone astray.
