قريش

لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ ١

Liīlāfi qurayshin

[He did this] to make the Quraysh feel secure,

إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ ٢

Īlāfihim riḥ'lata l-shitāi wal-ṣayfi

Secure in their winter and summer journeys.

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ ٣

Falyaʿbudū rabba hādhā l-bayti

So let them worship the Lord of this House:

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ ٤

Alladhī aṭʿamahum min jūʿin waāmanahum min khawfin

Who provides them with food to ward off hunger, safety to ward off fear.
