الناس

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ١

Qul aʿūdhu birabbi l-nāsi

Say, ‘I seek refuge with the Lord of people,

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٢

Maliki l-nāsi

The Controller of people,

إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٣

Ilāhi l-nāsi

The God of people,

مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ ٤

Min sharri l-waswāsi l-khanāsi

Against the harm of the slinking whisperer––

ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٥

Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri l-nāsi

Who whispers into the hearts of people––

مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ٦

Mina l-jinati wal-nāsi

Whether they be jinn or people.’
